JSC Resumes Operations After April 27th Storms

We’ve received many calls from our customers across the nation asking how we were after last week’s tragic tornado outbreak in Alabama. As you may have heard, on April 27th Alabama suffered through an outbreak of severe weather across the state, including the Moody area where Jones Stephens operates one of its warehouse complexes. We’re pleased to announce that Jones Stephens is fully operational and shipping all orders without delay.

While JSC did suffer moderate damage to one of our three Alabama warehouses, we were able to quickly move inventory and operations from the damaged location to a nearby facility. Through the hard work and dedication of its employees, JSC was able to resume shipments by the end of the same day as the storm, ensuring our ability to exceed our 99% fulfillment rate that our customers have come to expect and rely on.

Additionally, as part of our ongoing commitment to provide our customers with access – whatever the circumstances – to JSC’s unrivaled selection and availability; we have built a warehouse and distribution center in Pennsylvania serving our customers in the Northeast.

While all JSC employees and their families are safe, many suffered moderate or severe damages to their homes. If you wish to help them and those similarly affected across the South through these difficult times, we suggest going to the following website for ways you can help: www.redcross.org/SouthernTornadoes.

We’re open and ready for business – if you haven’t called recently, contact us and let us show you why Jones Stephens is your best choice for value and customer service in the industry!
